Set the paper size to 4×6 on a POLONO
- Set Stock to 4.00 in x 6.00 in in the driver.
- Set Print scaling to None under Advanced Options.
- Keep orientation Portrait and rotation 0.
- Close the lid with a new roll loaded to trigger auto-calibration, or long-press feed.

- 1Install the POLONO macOS driver for your model and add the printer.
- 2In the print dialog set Paper Size 4.00 x 6.00 in.
- 3Set Scale 100% and uncheck Scale to fit.
- 4Set Darkness around 10 and Speed 4 ips under Printer Features.
- 5Save the settings as a Preset named POLONO 4x6.
Windows
- 1Install the driver, open Printing preferences, and on Page Setup set Stock to 4.00 in x 6.00 in.
- 2Open Advanced Options and set Print scaling to None.
- 3Set Darkness 10, Speed 4 ips on the Options tab, then Apply.
- 4Print the converted PDF at Actual size with Fit to page off.
- 5Recheck the stock after any driver update, since it can revert to Letter.
iPhone
- 1The PL60 and P31S pair over Bluetooth with the POLONO app; the Wi-Fi models appear in AirPrint.
- 2Convert the label above and save the 4 × 6 PDF to Files.
- 3In the app choose the document, set label size 4 x 6 in, and turn off auto fit.
- 4Print one label as a test, then run the rest of the batch.
Android
- 1Pair in the POLONO app, or add a Wi-Fi model through Mopria Print Service.
- 2Open the converted PDF from Downloads and choose Print.
- 3Set paper size 4 x 6 in and scale 100%.
- 4Turn off Fit to page in the print preview before sending.
Fix labels that print tiny, off-center or across two labels
- The label prints tiny in one corner
- The stock is Letter. Change Stock to 4.00 in x 6.00 in, set print scaling to None, and print the converted 4 × 6 file.
- The label splits across two labels
- Reload the roll and close the lid to auto-calibrate, or long-press feed. Then confirm the stock length is 6 in.
- The print is off-center
- Set margins to 0 and move the paper guides in until they touch the liner without squeezing it.
- Bars look faint
- Raise Darkness a couple of steps and slow to 4 ips. Direct thermal stock varies a lot between brands.
- The printer feeds a blank label after each print
- Calibration lost the gap. Long-press the feed button until it advances and stops on a label edge.

Yes. Use the 100 × 150 mm preset in the converter so the PDF matches the stock exactly.
What speed setting gives the best barcodes?
4 ips. Faster speeds save a second per label but give greyer bars on cheap stock.
